Last week was an exciting week for Bulldogs sports and activities. Many Region 1-AA Championships were played for and seedings for state tournaments were determined for individual sports and activities. Once again, Bulldog Nation should be proud of its student-competitors and coaches/sponsors for our student competitors' tremendous performances in representing Thomasville High School. Below is a rundown of last week's competitive action.
In Girls Tennis, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Berrien County to compete in the Region 1-AA Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Bobcats from Early County 3-0 to advance to the championship round before falling to Berrien High School. The Lady Bulldogs finished Region 1-AA Runner-up.
On Tuesday, the Thomasville High School Literary Team hosted the Region 1-AA Literary Meet at the Thomasville Center for the Art. Of the twelve events that competed on Tuesday, Thomasville High School will send nine student-competitors to compete in eight events at the GHSA State Literary Meet on Saturday. The Thomasville High School Literary Team also won the Region 1-AA Championship for the third year in a row.
On Wednesday, the Thomasville High School Boys Tennis Team hosted the Region 1-AA Tournament. The Bulldogs defeated the Early County Bobcats 3-0 and the Berrien High Rebels 3-2 in the Region 1-AA Championship. The Bulldogs will receive a first-round bye due to Region Four not sending a fourth seed team to the GHSA state playoffs. The Bulldogs will play later in the week in the second round of the GHSA state tournament.
Congratulations to the Thomasville High School Lady Bulldogs Soccer Team on their victory over rival Cairo 5-0 on Tuesday night. The Lady Bulldogs will play host to Johnson Augusta on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 pm in the first round of the GHSA state tournament. The cost of admission is $10.00, doubleheader.

The Bulldogs will play host to Johnson Augusta on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the first round of the GHSA state tournament. The cost of admission is $10.00, doubleheader.
Congratulations to the Thomasville High School Bulldogs Baseball Team on their victories over Berrien High School (4-1) and Fitzgerald High School (1-0). The Bulldogs will travel to Sylvester on Wednesday for a doubleheader with Worth County High School. If you get an opportunity, please make sure to make the trip to Sylvester to cheer the Dogs' onto victory.
On Monday, Thomasville High School golfer Brycen Jones shot a 77 overall Coffee County Tournament. As a team, the Bulldogs shot a 379 overall. Congratulations to the Thomasville High School Bulldog Golf Team on their victory over rival TCC 179-180.
Congratulations to the Thomasville High School Lady Bulldogs Track and Field Team on their third-place finish at the Last Call Invitational in Valdosta.
