Last week was pretty light on the athletics front, with only our Cross Country and Competition Cheer squads in action. Both groups competed well with cross country at the state meet and cheer at the regional level. We would like to congratulate both squads on great seasons!
This week kicks off basketball and swimming season with both squads seeing action.
The boys and girls basketball teams will travel to Colquitt County on Monday for their preseason scrimmage. The regular season will kick off next week.
Our swim team will kick off their season on Saturday of this week at the Butler Mason YMCA, hosting the Dean Ferrell Invitational.
Saturday night our Bulldogs will open up the GHSA State playoffs vs the Jackson Red Devils. The game will kickoff at 6:00 PM - please see the game information below.

Regular season reserved seat ticket holders may claim their seats Monday - Wednesday at THS between the hours of 9 AM and 3:30 PM. ALL reserved seats are $12. Any unclaimed reserved seats will be open to the general public on Thursday morning.
General Admission seats will be available through GoFan all week. Tickets may also be purchased at THS on Thursday and Friday from 10 AM-2 PM. Tickets will be sold at the gate on Saturday with cash or card(Service fee will apply). ALL General Admission tickets are $8.
ONLY babies in arms will be admitted without a ticket, per GHSA guidelines.
GHSA pass holders will need to present ID to enter. School passes for faculty and students WILL NOT be accepted.
Please be aware that the clear bag policy is in effect and you will not be allowed in the stadium with a non-clear bag.
