Athletics Update/Weekly Schedule - 1/2

Last week at the BSN Holiday Hoopfest, the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs both had successful weeks. The Lady Dogs finished the 3-day event with a 2-1 record, notiching wins over Seminole County and Brooks County. The Bulldogs finished the week 3-0, knocking off Miller County, North Florida Christian, and Brooks County. Congratulations to Laila Harvey and Ananais Hopkins as they were named to the All-Tournament Team for their performances over the 3 days.
The Lady Dogs and Dogs are back in action this week with home games on Tuesday against the Florida High Seminoles and Saturday against the Cairo Syrupmakers. The teams also begin Region 1-AAA play on the road at Monroe on Friday night.
The THS and MPMS Swim teams return to action on Saturday at the Lee County Invitational held at Albany State.
