Congratulations to Naima Battle for being chosen as one of the Work-based Learning students of the semester! She serves as an office worker at Harper Elementary School where her employers and mentors brag on her constantly for her sweet disposition, willingness to do whatever is asked of her, and for being dependable. Naima is one of the best examples of the fine students we have here at Thomasville City Schools. Personally, I would have to say that she has one of the most polite dispositions I have encountered, and her work ethic is the best. Her future is as bright as her beautiful smile!

The Georgia Aquarium offers “sea grants” to Title 1 schools so that Georgia students are able to experience ocean life. The GA Aquarium is committed to the education of young people in hopes that they become environmental ambassadors for the future. Some lucky Thomasville High School students got to take a chartered trip up to Atlanta today to visit! Thank you Ms Russo for writing the grant and Mr Daniels for making the trip a reality.
